Thank-you for taking time to view my work! I hope to share my photography with others to enjoy, and possibly inspire the same appreciation of nature and wildlife in others.

My explorations began with a love of nature as a child; I then began photographing birds several years ago as a hobby.  After trips to National Parks, my interests grew to include landscape photography.

My academic background and natural resource work has helped me develop the skills necessary to capture wildlife, including studying behavior and understanding of various habitats.

I found that photography isn’t about  capturing the moment, but finding a way to introduce depth, then drawing an audience by providing something unique or different that other photographers haven’t captured previously. There is nothing better than catching the beauty of the outdoors and its’ creatures.

I currently live in Monona with my husband, Grant, who also enjoys nature photography.  Many of my works are available at the Left Bank Gallery and Shop in McGregor, IA.  I also participate in various Art Fairs throughout the Upper Midwest, check out the Events page for details on shows and dates.
