Every year we like to support our National Park system and visit a few different parks every year. There are just so many unique treasures out there to enjoy just in our backyard. This fall we decided to make a road trip out west and check out Rocky Mountain, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, Zion, and the Great Sand Dunes. All the parks were unique in their own way with different scenery all around. One of my favorite areas on the trip was at Zion National Park. We hiked the popular spot called the Narrows. The hike is actually walking through the riverbanks of the Virgin River, with the towering canyons on either side of you. We decided that we were up for the adventure! We grabbed our camera gear, waders and ventured off into the canyon. The hike started out in the open river and the farther back you went, the canyon narrowed with amazing views around every bend. It was not the easiest hike walking through the rocks and at times knee deep water, but the scenery was definitely awe-inspiring! Enjoy!
