One of my favorite deciduous trees is the Aspen. Fall is the most photogenic time of the year. I love when they are in peak form, they have a glowing shade of golden yellow. There are many different ways that you can capture the beauty of the Aspens. This past fall I was able to visit Rocky Mountain National Park when the colors were in peak. It was a stunning view driving through the mountains and seeing the colors among the evergreens. One of my favorite ways to photograph the trees, is to walking through the dense groves where the contrast of the white bark and black knots stick out in the golden leaves. Just a slight breeze makes the leaves rustle and quake. On a trip to Grand Tetons National park, I found a grove of Aspen trees to photograph. It was kind of a cloudy day but I got lucky and the sun peaked out for a few minutes for me to capture one of my favorite pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
