Photo of the Month

April is finally here and we have been getting plenty of the April showers here in Northeast Iowa. With the warmer weather and all the rain, plants are really starting to pop and turn green! When spring time comes to the woodlands, it not only means a new outlook weather wise, but a new season for outdoor exploration. This is a great time to take a hike in the woods; there are already plenty of colorful, woodland flowers already making an appearance. Just the other day with the sun shining, I decided to head out for a hike in the woods to see what flowers were out. Make sure you get outdoors to enjoy the nice weather and these beautiful woodland flowers. They don't last very long, but I look forward to seeing them every year to mark spring is here and summer is just around the corner. Enjoy!
